Daniél C. Kimlinger, PhD, MHA, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Daniél (Dani) Kimlinger is the Chief Executive Officer of MINES and Associates. Dani has a background in human resources and organizational psychology and leadership. Beyond her professional endeavors, Dani actively contributes to the community by volunteering and serving on various non-profit and professional boards. Her dedication and contributions were acknowledged when she was honored as a Titan 100 CEO in Colorado in 2021 and 2022.
Dani’s academic background includes an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Sociology, and she holds a Master of Health Administration (MHA). She furthered her education by completing a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, specializing in Business Psychology. To enhance her leadership skills, Dani also earned a certificate in Executive Leadership from Cornell University. With a passion for people, she finds joy in various activities such as reading, running, weightlifting, and outdoor pursuits like backpacking, hiking, snowboarding, trail running, and camping.

Robert A. Mines, Ph.D., Chairman & Chief Psychology Officer
Robert A. Mines, Ph.D. is Chairman and Chief Psychology officer at MINES & Associates (MINES), an international business psychology firm he founded in 1981. He is a former professor of Counseling Psychology at the University of Denver. He has received numerous awards over his career including Member of the Year from the Employee Assistance Professional Association. He has contributed to the body of knowledge through many peer-reviewed articles.
An accomplished speaker, Dr. Mines has been invited to share his insights at international, national, and state events and conferences. His impressive educational background comprises a Ph.D. in counseling from the University of Iowa, an MA in counseling from Creighton University, and a BA in Psychology and Philosophy from Creighton University. As a licensed psychologist in Colorado, Dr. Mines takes great pride in MINES & Associates’ capability to positively impact the lives of countless individuals, fostering improvement and even saving lives along the way.

Myron Unruh, Chief Operating Officer
Myron Unruh currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at MINES and Associates. He holds a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from the University of Kansas, a Master of Science in Health Informatics from the University of Missouri, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from MidAmerica Nazarene University. Myron brings a diverse set of skills to our team, including expertise in health plan leadership, strategic direction, budget management, regulatory compliance, and crisis intervention. His impressive background encompasses EAP, managed behavioral health, federal and state contracting, and health plan leadership.
Throughout his career, Myron has developed key strategies for integrated care, leading to significant financial gains and enhanced member satisfaction. He has held various C-Suite level positions within healthcare organizations, including CEO, where he successfully turned around underperforming entities, achieving remarkable financial growth while ensuring regulatory compliance. Myron’s strategic vision and operational expertise have been instrumental in driving organizational success.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Myron is deeply family-oriented and cherishes spending time with his wife and six children. He enjoys activities such as running, softball, and hiking in the Rocky Mountains or any scenic trail he can find.
Raena Chatwin
Operational, Systems Manager
As the Operational Systems Manager at MINES, Raena oversees the IT, Systems, and Provider Relations Departments, while also fulfilling the role of Compliance and HIPAA Privacy Officer. Throughout her tenure at MINES, she has garnered a comprehensive understanding of the company’s intricate operations, with a strong focus on EAP and PPO domains. Raena’s expertise extends to diverse areas, encompassing direct client support, sales, marketing, strategic account management, Quality Assurance, claims processing, implementation of new services, provider network development and management, and training.
Drawing from her rich background in public service, private sector, and collaboration with sole practitioners across various industries and organizational sizes, Raena excels in analyzing organizational processes and systems to optimize operational efficiencies. Her educational foundation in cultural psychology further enhances her prowess in applying human behavior insights to professional settings.
Lauren Meyer, LPC, ACS,
Manager of Health Psychology Operations
Lauren manages the Health Psychology Operations department at MINES. With a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from the prestigious University of Denver, Lauren possesses a vast reservoir of expertise that enriches her role. Prior to her tenure at MINES, she demonstrated unwavering commitment to community mental health, diligently serving both rural and urban communities. Lauren’s passion lies in effecting a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals through her professional endeavors.
During her leisure, she takes pleasure in pursuing her hobbies, which include swimming, gardening, and cherishing quality time with her family. Lauren’s dedication to her vocation is evident, exemplified by her Approved Clinical Supervisor credential, an esteemed accolade that further substantiates her dedication to excellence in the field.
