It’s been almost seven years since I graduated college. Every now and again I have dreams (more like nightmares) that I forgot to take a final and failed a class – or I forgot to register for a mandatory course that I needed to graduate. Every time I wake up from these dreams I am overwhelmed with relief but it makes me wonder why I am still having these dreams so many years later. I can only attribute these recurring fears to leftover stress! In college, I had to juggle so many new responsibilities that every day I felt like I was neglecting or forgetting something. Aside from passing courses, you also have to worry about paying for them, paying living expenses and eventually finding a job that makes it all worthwhile. On second thought, maybe it’s my monthly student loan bill that initiates these nightmares! Whether you are thinking about going to college, currently attending college, or preparing for graduate school, this month’s final communication is a fantastic guide to financing your education. |
